Winter is rarely treated as a theme in Tunisia, whether by photography clubs or by Facebook pages and groups. It might sound unexciting, yet readers took part in large numbers, contributing varied and picturesque visions. New sections brought a more scholarly dimension to this sixth issue. Nour Elhouda Jallouli’s ‘Campus’ makes university research connected with photography available to the public. Photogramme gives Iliadha BM a purely literary carte blanche to write about a photograph that moved her. Architecture students Maram Boulakbech and Aziz Boutrif explore Tunisian heritage through its most emblematic monuments. Chawki Dachraoui, Pierre Gassin and Tarek M’rad continue to offer readers intelligent, enjoyable and genuinely useful reading.
